New to Premiere Pro - finding file issues

New Here ,
Apr 10, 2023 Apr 10, 2023

Hi everyone,

I am very, very new to Premiere Pro - just added it yesterday, 4/9/2023.

I just purchased a drone (DJI mini pro 3) and wanted to start getting into video.

I have LR and PS already installed on my mac studio running 13.3.1

I have an external drive that holds all my photo files that i take and edit in LR and PS.

I imported the drone files over the weekend.

However, when i try to import from the external drive - i can see all the folders, however, once i select a folder (any folder on that drive) i am only able to see the first file on the drive.

Below is an example - there are a few hundred files in teh 4/8 folder - a few jpeg and raw photo files and mp4 video files from the drone and the rest would be raw photo files from my Sony a7rV.

If anyone

What happens if you create the project and then go to File > Import instead of using the import feature on the new import tab?
