I just signed back up to work on tasks with Premiere. I updated the software to PP Pro and immediately ran into a problem with the audio. No audio at all comes out of my sytem into either headphones or speakers to monitor. I put bars and tone on timeline just to confirm and that also does not work. And yes, the audio works fine when I play it normally out of Premiere.
I have a WIN 10 Inspiron 15 5000 series laptop. When I went into audio hardware, this is what I'm seeing:
Evidently the Realtek is not working based on the above. Does anyone know the fix to get this thing working?
Thanks.

Hi there!
Thank you for reaching out. I understand that Audio Hardware is not configured properly in Premiere Pro.
You may switch Default Input to No Input then test the audio
Let us know if it works

UPDATE TO MY FIRST POST ABOVE:
When I first posted this, the device class only had one choice and that was MME. Then for some reason, the class somehow added another choice and that is ASIO. So I selected this because my research showed that this could possibly fix my problem. When I selected it, Premiere warned me this could affect timeline and other performance. I went ahead and clicked OK and now I cannot get the timeline head to play at all. When I hit spacebar or click the play button in the monitor, nothing happens. It's like it's frozen. I tried rebooting the computer. So I switched back to MME and that does not solve the problem.
I put it back to ASIO and it's still not working. See below:
