Not able to link DJI 4K Drone footage in Premiere Pro CC

All,

Need help urgently.

I had a problem importing DJI 4K Drone footage in my Premiere pro cc and creating proxies, so I used a friend's system to create proxies. But, after connecting the external hard drive to my Premier Pro CC, when I open the project file, it says that 'Media media files for these clips' and when I try to locate the files manually and link them, it is giving me the error as 'The importer reported a generic error'. This works perfectly in my friend's machine, but I am facing this issue. Can anyone please suggest on what I need to do? I don't have any problem in playing the 4K drone footage, so there is no issue with the drone footage as such. I don't face the same issue when I am working with 4K footage from anything other than drone

My OS is Window 10 Home edition (64 bit).

Thanks,

Shyam

Right click on a clip in the project window and Attach Proxies.

Or are you trying to link the proxy file to the original?

Hello Ann,

Thank you for your quick response. I did what you suggested and able to make progress with my edit, but when I export media, it is only giving output based on the proxies, but not able to render based on the original 4K footage even though I toggled off the proxies before exporting. How do I solve this?

Shyam

Your originals are in the Project window and proxy is attached and online?
