Not able to type chinese character after updating to V22.1.1

The typing box shows a strange blue line under the text box rather than the typed chinese character.

Uninstalled V22.1.1 and reinstalled V22, everything works normal now. I am able to type chinese with the text tool again.

Problem persist after v22.1.2

v22.2, I believe this issue has been fixed but it is quite choppy to type Chinese, and typing with Microsoft Pinyin causes the text cursor to jump ahead after selecting the wanted word, and text cursor does not move at all with Sogou Pinyin.

Thanks for your reply.

Problem still persist after v22.2.
If I change to Microsoft Cangjie or Microsoft Quick input, I am able to type Chinese in the text box. Unfortunately I am not familiar with both of them. DIME Cantonese Pinyin input is the one I am good at, which does not work after v22.1.  It appears to be the same issue with the Sogou Pinyin you mentioned, where the text cursor does not move at all with any input. Not sure if it is a Chinese character table issue after v22.1 as there are huge updates on the voice and text department.

I am still using v22.0 currently with no issue on typing but I am worried if someday Adobe decide to remove the v22.0 from other versions menu then I will be doomed.

Just updated to V22.1.1 again to try your suggested way (reset preference), no luck.
