Not Importing Full Video

When attempting to import my latest MP4 video (screen recording from OBS), only 10 seconds of the 1 hour and 49 minute video will import. When i watch the video on windows media player, the whole video plays. When i import it to Davinci Resolve, the whole video imports(i do not want to use davinci resolve). Its only happening with Adobe. I have been using Adobe Premiere Pro for 2 years and have never encountered this. I have not changed any settings. Ive tried importing it to Adobe Premiere Pro 25.2.3, Adobe Premiere Pro BETA 26.8, And Adobe After Effects BETA 25.4. It only imports 10 seconds on all of them.

The file is in my videos folder on my desktop.

OS Windows 11.

As you can see in the screenshots, the video length should be 01:49:45 but in Premiere only shows as 00:00:10:24. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

I use Constant Bit Rate when i record.

Constant Bit Rate is different from Constant Frame Rate.

Thanks for your message. As for Premiere Pro, something may have happened during the recording of the file, causing an issue at the ten-minute mark. It's probably related to the variable frame rate recording. You might try transcoding the file to see if that will help. A hardware-based recorder that can deliver better files might be nice to have.

Video recordings from streaming media can be rather sketchy due to the nature of recording (due to variable frame rate). The longer the recording the more some trouble might happen. You might try recording a test to see if a similar file has the same issue. Let us know what happens. Sorry you are experiencing this issue.

I have another video, recorded at the same time, same length, using the same settings, and it imports fine into Adobe. Its just that one video. Both recorded using CBR and a HEVC encoder. After recording, i remux the MKV footage to MP4.
