Hello,
I have cut together a music video with an early version of the audio track. I have just now been sent the final mastered track by the producer but when I am trying to slot it into place in premiere it is out by maybe half a millisecond. This is a very small difference I appreciate but I'd like to have it bang on for the music video.
Is there anyway to move this bottom audio track freely without it snapping to the next millisecond?
Thank you!!
Set Timeline to Audio Units.
Click on the hamburger menu.
If your audio is 4kHz you will be able to move the audio 1/48000 of a second.

I have the same question and have spent two days looking for the answer. Where, specifically is the "Audio Unit" setting? I'm on latest version of Rush, desktop. I'm desperate to move my separate audio track in tiny increments rather than dragging. Thank you!

So, apparently that hamburger menu is the Audio Unit view? I can drag the audio track but it's jumpy. How do I move the audio track in tiny increments? Is there a keyboard method? I've tried every combination. Windows Movie Maker 6 had a keyboard method, Premier Pro has a keyboard shortcut, why can't I find it for Rush? Need this! Thank you!

Dont think Rush has audio units.
Post your question in the Rush forum.

My apologies, I thought I had.

Okay, one thing I did finally figure out, and it helps, is turning off the snap option under sequence. Much easier to drag the clip accurately. Finally, my video is edited. Onward and upward.

Is there a way to trim video to milliseconds with audio track locked? i can't seem to trim the video to the cursor so my cut is exactly at the beginning of a beat.

Short answer: nope.
You cut the audio to the video. As video cannot be trimmed less then 1 frame.
Audio is 1/48000 per second.

I have Show Audio Time Units selected but Premiere Pro still does not let me nudge an audio clip in an increment of less than a frame. Is there a preference or another setting I am missing? It's also not snapping to anything either btw. I would appreciate any suggestions. Is there no way to drag a clip freely?

If audio is linked to the video, then the answer is no.
Audio needs to be unlinked.
S for snapping.
