Number Pad with Multi-Camera Sequence Jumps to Timecode Field

Community Beginner ,

I purchased a Macally Bluetooth full number pad to use with Multi-Camera editing in Premiere Pro Mac. Excitedly set it up only to discover that when I press a number the cursor automatically hops to the Timecode field, rather than a camera number.

I searched for a solution and found this thread: Adobe Community | Number Pad Not Working with Premiere Pro on iMac Pro, but it's already marked as Solved, stating: In version 22.2, it appears that you do not need to press Shift any longer to enter numbers using the Num Pad.

I'm not sure about other Num Pad functionality, but all that I need is Multi-Camera functionality. Would appreciate any suggestions to resolve. Thank you!
