Numbers flipping around as I type in Premiere Pro

As I type out numbers using  =, +, x or -, the numbers will flip to the wrong side of the equation. Similar problems occur when I use dollar signs. Please let me know if anyone has potential solutions. Attached screen recorded gif with my key strokes displayed on screeen.

In the essential graphics tab, look at this section where font is selected, there's a setting option in the upper right corner, just got to it and uncheck "hindi digits".

    EDIT: Pay no attention to the actual math lol I know 1 x 3 does not equal 5. Just wanted to display the wierd number issue.
