Opening a project while exporting another

does anyone know if and how I can open another project in Premier to edit while I'm exporting another out?! At the moment it doesnt seem possible which is a frustration!! I have a project that's taking 20hours to export which means I cannot edit any other work until this export is done!! PLEASE help?!!

    That's what having the Adobe Media Encoder as a separate program is for. When doing an export when you need to keep working, use the "Queue" button from the PrPro Export dialog box ... as shown below.

    AME is designed to run "in the background" so it stops while you're working if there's not enough computer resouces ... and starts up again as soon as there are.
