Organize file types: prin and pek

Since those files needs to be there i do nothing. But, i do clear those files about one/two times a month to clear out old ones i don´t need anymore.

I also set up a dedicated folder on another drive to store all media cache/media cache database files, iow not on the C-drive. Easier to manage, all files in one (1) folder, easy to delete all files in one go, the C-drive is left untouched.

All files that are deleted will be re-created by Premiere Pro when/if needed.

But what should I do with them; they clutter up my folders and get in the way? I mean, would the user need to access these files, on their own, at any point?

 

How should I manage these files, so they don't impact my workflow?

In Preferences>Media Analysis & Transcription, you can set the cache analysis to be in the Media Cache, next to your media in a sidecar file or Do Not Cache.
