Pen Tool not working on audio track Premiere Pro 2018

Pen tool doesn't allow me to add key frames on audio track. I went to the wrench menu to select "show audio key frames" but it still doesn't work - on my laptop or desktop. I've reinstalled Premiere a few weeks ago. Something so simple is driving me bananas. Appreciate the help!

Desktop:

Windows

Intel 3.70 GHz

It's working here for both clip and track keyframes in version 12.0.1 on Windows 10 Pro (1709).

Post a screen shot.  Maybe seeing it will spark an idea.

I can add key frames to video track. I see a "+" next to the pen tool when I hover over the video. But it plus sign doesn't appear when I hover over audio track. I couldn't get the pen tool in the screen shot

You're audio track's a little small there.  Expand it a bit.
