After the last update on Premiere Pro I have massive perfomance issues. I just wanted to check if I am the only one. I am working on Windows 11 are there some issues between Windows and Premiere? And can somebody help me with a workaround because I have 3 big projects but I cant work when Premiere is that slow I cant even scroll through the timeline.

PC Specs:

Intel i9-13900KF

Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 12 GB

RAM 32 GB

OS: Windows 11 Pro

@EgeEAZ I'm sorry that's happening. Can you open the Progress panel (Window > Progress) and see are there any background processes running?

Yes I can and I closed everything that was running. But it changed nothing.

Two more things to try:

  1.  Restart with no third-party plugins. You can do this by quitting Premiere Pro, then holding the Shift key and launching Premiere Pro again. You'll see a window appear with an option to do a one-time launch disabling all third-party plugins. Choose that box, then click Continue. Premiere Pro will launch. Open your projects, how are they?
  2. Same steps as above but this time choose the "Clear Media Cache Files" option and click Continue. After you open your project, let the cache rebuild for a minute or two, then try out your project.

Thank you for the help. The 1st step worked. Now its back normal. One last question: Do I need to start it everytime like this on that project thats not running well?
