Permissions in a windows 11 domain account

Hi everyone,

I have only installed Premiere Pro recently. When I import files, things seem fine, I can get the files into my media browser window. When I try and drag a file onto my timeline it wont allow it, my mouse pointer changes into the little cross, weirdly it will allow the audio from the file to be added to the audio track, not that this helps at all. So I tried running Premiere as Administrator, that works fine, the problem then is I dont have access to my network share drives.

Im running windows 11, the computer is part of a windows domain, the network shares I want to access are on a Synology NAS. I cant think of any other information that might be important. When I use other adobe products, they work fine, e.g Photoshop.

Anyone know how to fix this? or whats causing it?

Try arming the V1 track by clicking the little icon. Currently, you're instructing PPro to only add audio to the timeline, not video.

Hi,

Thankyou for the reply, Ive attached a screenshot here. I tried to do a screenshot which showed the mouse cursor but wasnty able to. It as a closed fist with a circle with a line through it, similar too the images Ive attached but not exactly the same, I think you should get the picture though.
