Hello,
I've recently come across a bug in Premiere Pro. At least, I think it's a bug.
I have multiple sequences going in a project for various things. One's for broll, one's for the rough cut, etc.
Whenever i move from sequence to sequence, my playhead automatically jumps to the beginning of the sequence. This is has only started happening recently, probably within the last update or so.
It is slowing down my process dramatically, as I need to keep the play head where I last had it, as I'm working through my rough cut sequence adding various things to it, music, broll, etc.
Has anyone else seen this issue arise?

Windows 10

There is a setting in the Preferences that might be causing this behavior.
If not: reset preferences.

Hi Ann,
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, that's not exactly what's going on. It's not a matter of me playing a sequence and it going to the beginning after it reaches the end. It will literally just jump to the beginning without hitting play and always when i move between sequences. I'll try the preferences reset anyway, because why not, right? I'll report back if it works or not.

Trashing preferences did not fix this issue. Thanks anyway, Ann!

I would just like to reiterate. This is still a problem. It has not been solved.

I don't expect you ever found a solution to this?
Ive got exactly the same think happening on a huge project and just cant find a solution anywhere.

Actually, for what its worth, theres another thread on here, and it seems to be to do with having text in the search field of a transcript when you jump between sequences for some reason.

Hi everyone! I found something. While editing I use a lot SHIFT to snap, and SPACE to play.
Sometimes is hit accidentally SHIFT+SPACE combination, which is a built in shortcut.
This was the cause of the failure for me. Go to keyboard shortcuts (CTRL+ALT+K) and search for "Play in to Out with Preroll/Postroll" .
