Playback and Rendering stuck at 640p when all footage is HD.

Hey guys,

I'm having an issue with rendering my project.

All the imported footage is full HD, but what I'm seeing in playback is only 640.

When I go to render I can set the rendering setting to 1080, but when I go to the video tab and hit 'match content', or whatever it is, it reverts to 640 again.

Playback is set to full quality etc.

Anyone have any idea what the issue might be?

What may be happening is your sequence may be 640p while your videos may be 1080p. You can import higher resolution videos into lower resolution sequence.

Check your sequence settings: Sequence->Sequence Settings

I have a feeling your sequence is 640p

Yeah the sequence settings were set to 640p for some reason. Thanks!

Issue now is that in the playback preview everything still appears in 640 within the new larger frame size.

Is this going to translate to the rendered file in real terms, and if so is there some way to fix this so that I don't have to start editing all over again?

Right click on clips and Set to Frame size.

Please post a screen shot of Export Settings panel, that often provides a quick answer
