Playback stops in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014

Hello, I have a PC with the following characteristics:

-Processor: Intel Core i7 3820 CPU @ 3.60 GHz.

-RAM: 32 GB .

-GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti.

-Windows 7 Professional

When using Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 I can't watch any video in the timeline or the media playback area for more than a few seconds. I press the play button or spacebar and the video plays 4 seconds, sometimes some frames and it stops (it stops randomly after a few seconds). I have to press play again in order to see the video. I have been working with Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 for one year and I never had this problem. I tried unistalling and installing Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 again and the problem is still there. I oppened a new sequence and put one video (small: 100 mb) and it always stops, I have to press play again in order to see the video. What could be happening?

Thanks,

Germán

Some variable must have changed... you're not using a new media format? Your hard drive that the media lives on is exactly the same? No recent software updates (to Windows, Premiere, GPU drivers, anything?). What are the details of the video clips you're working with (codec/containers/resolution). Details of the hard drive your media lives on?

What storage devices are you using?

Hello, thanks for your answer. I'm using a Western Digital HDD SATA 3 - 7200 RPM of 3 TB.

I forgot to mention that I have a Blackmagic Design Intensity Pro 4K Video Playback card. Some minutes ago I tried disconecting a monitor that was connected to the Blackmagic card's HDMI output, then I oppened Premiere Pro CC 2014 and the playback problem was gone (using the same video files I tried before). The video output capability to that monitor through Blackmagic card was off all the time in Premiere Pro CC 2014 settings; I had the playback problem (I think) because the monitor(that was off all the time) was connected to the Blackmagic card. Before unpluging the monitor I opened DaVinci Resolve and I didn't have any problems with playback (considering DaVinci demands so much from GPU unit). I also turned on the monitor connected to Blackmagic video playback card to demand more from the GPU and the video never stopped.

I think there is some kind of issue between the Blackmagic video playback card and Premiere Pro CC 2014 because in Davinci Resolve I don't have any playback problems when using the monitor connected through the Blackmagic card. Before connecting the new power supply unit to my PC I was able to work perfectly (without any playback issues in Premiere Pro CC 2014) using the monitor connected through the Blackmagic card. Do you think there is something I could try in order to be able to use the monitor in Premiere Pro CC 2014 through the Blackmagic card without the playback issues?.

Thanks for your time and suggestions.
