Playhead position / timecode too small to work with

Running into problems where the left and right keys are virtually useless for scrubbing through the timeline. If 'show audio time units' is selected in the dropdown menu above the timecode (00:00:15:30261 - second picture) the cursor can move one frame. If it isn't selected the playhead can only move .00001 frames with every keystroke.

Welp....

I answered my question while posting this. In Sequence Settings I changed things up to the settings shown in the first picture and now audio time units only go to the hundredths, I have full control with the left and right arrows again. I recently updated from CC2015 to CC1017 still working out some bugs...

Previously:

Display Format was set to 'Frames'

Preview format was 'I-frame only mpeg'

Audio time units jacked up
