Please Help: Proxies No Longer Working When Toggled

Issue:

Within the past month, my proxy files no longer work when toggled. Whether they were created in-camera (Canon C500II/C300III) or through Media Encoder makes no difference. They're attached and showing up as attached, they toggle like normal, but they suddenly no longer play.

The frame freezes in the program monitor, but I can still hear the audio. When I toggle it back to 4K/6K full res, those files play normally. So my proxies are frozen while the full resolution version of the file plays without so much as a stutter.

It's a real headscratcher and it's crushing my workflow and costing me valuable time on a deadline. I've never had an issue with the proxies not playing once attached. All of these proxies worked at one point, so I can't figure out why they've suddenly stopped.

I've deleted the cache, detached and reattached proxies, opened a new project and reimported, uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere Pro, shut down and restarted desktop etc... . Nothing works. Yes, it's an older system but it's worked without issue even churning AE motion projects. Makes no sense that the full res files work but the proxies don't (even though they once did).

User error? Bug? I'm struggling to figure this out and need it to work yesterday. Details below...

Adobe Premiere Pro:

V 24.6.1 –Althought these are long term (2-year) projects that have been cut through several versions of Premeire Pro

System:

Mac 27" 2017

3.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5

Radeon Pro 580 8 GB

64 GB 2400 MHz DDR4

Ventura 13.6.9 (22G830)

Project and Source Files:

Stored on SSD, with 2TB of 4TB used on one project, and on a 24TB G-RAID (storage) and 4TB SSD (Project) on another project

Camera Files:

Canon C300III MXF

Canon C500II MXF

DJI Mavic 3

Have you checked the path of the proxies and made sure you're not linking to the original media?

Also, could you provide more details about your original media and proxy settings?

I’ve had serious issues with DJI files in the past—even when the original was offline, and I only had the proxies connected. In these situations, I recommend importing the proxies as the original media (not attached as proxies) and then relinking the DJI files at the end of the process.

Thanks for checking back with me. They're not linked to the original media. Original files are .MXF, proxy files are .PMXF, Canon's in-camera file formats. I've never had an issue like this and I haven't changed anything with my camera settings or how I link to the proxies. As I said, this seemingly happened overnight.

All I can figure is that it's related to several different versions of Premiere over the span of a couple of years...? Maybe? In any case, the original files play well. The proxies won't play at all. Using the orignial .MXF's is fine for now. But when I start adding effects, color, etc..., it's going to bog down and become unworkable.

The DJI files are the least of my worries. All I do is render them out and they play. Nevermind the proxies. That being said, no proxies will play, whether recorded in-camera or created using AME. I haven't had the time to deep dive into this any further b/c of looming deadline. File info attached in photo.
