Hi guys,

I'm running Premiere Pro 2024 on Windows 10 - plenty of hard disc space, RAM and processing power.

I was working on a project when I kept getting error messages when adding film dissolves (although playback was fine).

I read this up online as it was getting annoying and was told to reset the preferences, which I did in the preferences menu.

Since then it won't playback properly, just stutters and starts on audio and visual.

I've reinstalled the software and even completely reinstalled windows (needed to do it anyway), but still getting the same problem.

I had somebody from Adobe on my machine for two hours and they couldn't work it out.

Can anyone help please as I'm on deadline for this project.

Many thanks.

Correct answer Ali Jaber

In the Preferences > Audio Hardware > Default Input: set it to No Input, and see if this solves the problem.
