PP Manual/Menu Items

I have been looking for over an hour for an actual manual that tells me what each Menu item in PP is supposed to do, but alas, I have found nothing.

I do not need to know about shortcuts.  I have been using this thing since 2004 and often wondered what some menu items purpose was, and how they work.

would like to have a readable document like the one that came with the purchased ones.

For this, you need to file the Bug/Feature Request form. Sad but true.

https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform

The old-style pdf manuals are not considered something that most users would use, by some within Adobe, so ... they haven't been updated in some years for most programs. Those of us who would prefer them would love to get more people to file that request for that feature.

The best they've got, is to click on the "online help" in the Help menu item, and try to find what you need in there. Much of it is engineer feature-speak, but ... quite often, when you drill down through a couple linked pages, you can actually find useful info on something.

Neil did a request.  thank you.

I tried to be nice when I left my comments asking them why they do not update or have a pdf.

Kind of archaic that we have to stop working, login to a support portal, ask the question and wait for an answer.  just as bad as the 80's waiting on the phone.

Yea ... but you know, from talking with product folks at NAB, they think it's the other way 'round: looking up & reading a "how to" is so 1980's. But you're absolutely right, when one has a good detailed user-point-of-view manual, with good indexes, you can get an answer in seconds.

Like say, the Resolve manual that BlackMagic supplies ... what, 1200 pages? Heavily cross-indexed ... what a joy ... sigh.
