Everything was fine in Premiere 24 (though occasional issues with 4:2:0 DJI O3 FPV files).
Proxies rendered out to 422 half-size prores proxy end up larger than the h265 original files (despite being advertised as 100mbps, more like 160-180mbps, ALSO, can't change proxy presets STILL).
Tried h264 Proxies, and the original files seem to decode the fastest with Proxies DISABLED, regardless, there's now (with new Premiere 25) a 5-second freeze/lockup of the project occasionally when editing with these files (Proxies on or not). PP25 seems to hate the DJI 4:2:0 footage for some reason.
Please halp.
Hi @ZoneWolf - I’m wondering if Premiere might be interpreting the files you’re experiencing issues with at the wrong frame rate. The best way for me to confirm this would be if you could share this data. Thank you!
It's hard to tell what the frame rate is displaying because it is cut off. Can you let me know the exact frame rate that premiere says in the box "Use Frame Rate from file" and what framerate it was shot at?

Hi @ZoneWolf - Can you provide some screenshots of your media files specifically navigate to modify > Interpret footage. What are your computer specs?

The issue is most present in a larger project with about 20 layers in the main sequence, mix between 4:2:2 Sony footage and DJI 4:2:0 footage. 24fps Sequence, mostly 120fps footage at 100% speed.
