Question

Premier brings mov in with out of sync audio, only on my machine?

I have a few files that when I import to a new project are out of sync when the source is perfectly fine. I would blame the files however my colleague brings the same files into his premiere and there is no problem. My only fix is to re-encode the files which then takes some of the quality away but does fix the issue. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have set preferences back to default and I have checked my colleague's setup against mine which are identical. I have no idea why it's fie for him but not for me. We are both running the same OS.

Has anyone seen this with their creative cloud for different users?

Jon

    Hi Jon,

what is the source of your media files?

Is this issue specific to these files (on your machine)?

    Thanks,

    Kulpreet Singh

    Hi Kulpreet,

Thank you for your quick response. Here are the specs for the H264 .mov.

I would understand if the file were out of sync to begin with or if it didn't work on my colleague's machine. Other files work fine for the both of us. I had adobe remote in yesterday but stopped after two mins as they weren't au fait with premier and put me in touch with someone who was who is yet to call me back. We have two users on creative cloud on the same os.

    Best,

    Jon
