Premier Pro 2020 rendering super slow on macbook pro

I could not find a current solution or a diagnosis for my premiere pro  that is rendering super slow on a macbook.    It may not be accessing the video card?   CODA incompatible?   

 

How can I diagnose or fix this problem?

I am sorry to tell you this, but the Mac version of Premiere Pro 2020 now no longer supports CUDA at all. (For that matter, neither does OSX Catalina/10.15.x.) Only Metal and OpenCL (the latter of which has been depreciated). And Nvidia GPUs that had been installed in mid-2010s Macs have historically performed poorly in both OpenCL and Metal.

Could you also post what the properties are of your source material, and any effects (if any) that you are applying to the clips in the timeline.
