I am new to Adobe editing, especially video editing, and I heard this was theb est software. I have been having issues with my computer crashing, especially when try to create an auto-transcript from an audio track. And I don't know what to do. At first I thought I was using too much memory, but I have 32 GB of 3200 memory, and even when other programs like Discord and Google Chrome etc are closed, the system is still crashing, with no error message, only black screens, and losing power to most USB devices, while the RBG and computer seems to stay on within the tower itself, so I'm really confused. Help!!! (PS-Bios settings are default)

I am experiencing the same issue. I can do one transcode, and then I need to reboot my computer for the next transcode to work (ie. not shutdown/crash my computer).

My computer specs:

Version 23.2.0 Build 69

Graphics card: Quadro P6000

128 GB RAM

64bit Windows 10 Pro (OS build 19045.2728)

Intel core i9-9980XE CPU @ 3.00 GHz

Hi Jody,

Sorry! Try the 528.49 driver. Let us know if that solves the issue.

Thanks,
Kevin

Thanks Kevin! I installed the latest driver for the Quadro P6000 and I'm not getting the crash anymore. There may have also been some other servers running heavy loads on the same electrical circuit in the office which may have caused the crashing. Happy to say, the problem has gone away and the transcribe feature is working great! Thanks for the help.

Hey Peter252105129e1o,

Sorry about the issue. Which version of Premiere are you currently using? Are you having this issue with only Premiere or other software as well? Please share your system specifications (OS, CPU, GPU, RAM). Let us know. We're here to help.

Thanks,

Ishan

The other software that crashes only crashes the software, not my entire computer. The current version of Premier Pro I am using is Version 22.5.0 (Build 62) (Well, I'm not sure that this symbol is a 6.) I have also included a few screenshots with the information that I believe you are looking for. Also, my ram is Corsair - DDR4 3200 speed, 4 sticks of 8 GB with XMP profile enabled. In this speccy screen/screenshot, I have see the @1223MHz be upwards of 1400 and 1700+ But that changes based on the volume of work currently being completed, I believe.
