Premier Pro CC 2020 (v.14.0.1) Essential Graphics Problem

Hey Guys,

So I just uploaded a project i've been working on in PP  CC 2018 (v.12.1.2) into the new version of PP CC 2020 (v.14.0.1)...All is dandy except for the essential graphics, specifically the .mogrt files.

All graphics seem to contain all my text edits within the editable boxes under the "edit" tab in the Essential Graphics window, however, not translating or showing up in my timeline/project.

Now i've un-zipped the .mogrt file and opened into AE, re-saved as my own .mogrt template, installed .mogrt into PP CC 2020, closed PP, re-opened PP and the text is still not translating into my timeline. Just shows up blank if I try to edit manually or with default text. I have also synced fonts.

Any ideas, workarounds, suggestions?

I tried to be as specific as possible but let me know if I need to be more specific or include more information!

Thanks!

Mack

How many MOGRT files do you have in the project? As a test, drag over a fresh copy of one from the EG panel and apply your text edits. The simplest path to fixing this may just be re-doing all the MOGRT work. Unfortunately, a lot of things just seem to "break" when updating an older project.

Still not working, im sure its some error i did on my end somewhere along the line. Im afraid im going to have to re-edit all my .mogrts = no fun 😞

Sorry to hear that 😞

A new patch for 2020 dropped last night, so I would update to 14.0.2 and see if that helps.

Otherwise, can you stay in 2018 to finish the project?

Hey Ann,

I'm almost 100% positive i'm in AE 2020. I'm not at my computer right now but will confirm when I am in a couple hours.
