Premier Pro - edit clip in adobe audition taking long time to render & replace

I'm having a issue it's not major but if I drop a video "example" into a particular project I use regularly, then click "edit clip in adobe audition" it takes like 2/3 minutes sometimes and it never used to. But if I drop same file "example" into a different but similar project and click edit in audition it takes like 5/10 seconds. It's rather baffling. Any ideas?

Have you checked the sample rate of your audio files? Also, is this issue occurring with every sequence in your project, or is it specific to one particular sequence?

Thank you, it was indeed the audio sample rate setting.

Perhaps some mild corruption with the one particular project, you can open a new project and import in the one particular project, see if that helps. Also, consider deleting the cache, hold down shift as you start PP from the normal icon, then answer the dialog.
