Premier Pro - Guide placement settings copy to every single project?

Hi There! This problem is driving me nuts. Why does premier sync the guide settings on all projects?

I was working on some IG reel videos, and have 6 seperate premier project files saved individually for these videos. When I would be working on video A (and only have that project open) I would adjust the guides, save the project, and move to the next. When I would open videos B,C,D,E,F all of the guides were changed/scyned to match video A.

Just now I started an entirely new video project, with a 1920x1080 spec, and the IG reel guides from my previous project are on the editing window. When I deleted the guides, I went back to check my IG reel project video files, and all guides were deleted off all 6 videos. Are you not able to have different guide settings for different files? It's not like they are seperate sequences on the same project, they are entirely different files.

Please help! Not sure how to fix this so I can customize guides for different video projects. Thank you for your time + advice (:
