Premiere 2023 - Full Rendered Timeline Still Lagging For Previewing

Hello! why is my timeline still lagging for preview even though i have full render timeline (green not yellow)?

1080p sequence

80% 1080p videos mix of mp4, mxf, mov

10% mxf / mov 4K (no proxy since i have TB3 speed)

10% phone footages with different FPS

remove unused timeline

cache = ssd

24TB TB3 HDD

128GB ram / Intel Xeon (mac)

color graded -> looks (red giant)

1hr 20mins duration

 

tried changing the renderer to METAL > SOFTWARE ONLY

clear cache etc.

still no luck.

btw, the original project file is PREMIERE 2020, then i move it to 2022 (still lagging) then 2023 (still the same).

 

ive also tried to copying it to new sequence and offset everything +5 seconds.. still lagging after full rendered timeline.

Many users are having issues with VFR. If the file is variable frame rate, use Handbrake to convert to constant frame rate:
