Premiere 2024 - Drag n drop stops working after export

Hi!

Recently the drag n drop function stopped working in Premiere Pro, at first it was sporadic but now it's after every export.

After an export I can no longer move clips on the timeline, not even nudge them a single frame. No drag n drop from source window or project/media bin either without a restart of Premiere Pro.

I'm working on a project with multiple deliveries in horizontal and vertical, so there's a lot of exports going on atm for client approval and that sort of stuff.

I've tried trashing all preferences including plugins, removed all 3rd party (vst plugins) launched not as an admin as was suggested in another thread with similar issue years ago. None of this made a difference thou.

Hopefully there's some wizard here that knows what's up and how to solve this.

Premiere Pro 24.3.0 (Build 59)

Nvidia Studio Driver: 551.86

RTX3050

Win 10 (Home):22H2 - 19045.4170

Intel i7

32GB RAM

You may want to go to Adobe Support (Make sure to sign in to your Adobe account first and allow popups and cookies in your browser. You may not be able to see the chat window if using a VPN.):

https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen will automatically open the chat window.

Type "Agent" in the chat box to bypass the chatbot and be connected to a person.

When connected to an agent, ask to be transferred to the Video Queue.

Try resetting the Workspaces:
Reset a workspace
Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
• Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.
from here:
https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/workspaces.html

If that doesn't work, try creating a new project and import the old one into it.

Thanks Peru Bob, I tried this. Sadly, didn't help.

Also, the problem isn't tied to just one project, all new and old projects created before and after this happened have the same issue.
