Premiere 24.1 Text Panel Extremely Slow - Transcribing 10min vid = 9hrs + UI freezing/not expanding

I updated my Premiere Pro to 24.1. I noticed the text panel is very slow to open and the UI takes forever to expand. Transcribing my 10 minute video clip (uncut)(clear audio) is estimating nine hours to complete.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Everything else is working fine so far, but this is the first thing I noticed to be buggy. My macbook is fully maxed out 16" M2 Max 96gb of ram.

Sorry about the issue. Can you let us know the macOS? Have you already tried resetting preferences and deleting cache files?
