Hi,

I tried importing some effect presets into Premiere Pro and they were not recognized. When I click "import presets" and search for the folder, it comes up empty. Any ideas?

Thanks!

    Hi.

There must be some error, if when opening the import window you can not find the files, it is because the procedure does not correspond to what you are trying to import.

First you must make sure of what type of file you have:

    Preset (effects panel)

    File extension * .prfpset

It is imported from the same panel

    Export Settings

    File extension * .epr

It is imported from the same panel

    Panel "Lumetri Color"

    File extension * .look

It is imported from the same panel option "Creative"

File extension * .cube - * .itx - and other

It is imported from the same panel option "Basic Correction or Creative"

    Check it please.

The file was recognized as XML, and simply changing the format was enough to make Premiere recognize it.

    Thanks for the help!

    Where are the presets from?

A coworker sent them to me. He exported them directly from Premiere itself, and sent the files to me, they are free to use.

What version of Premiere Pro do you have and what version are the presets from?
