Premiere not able to import DJI Matrice 4T Video

I am trying to import .mp4 files from my DJI Matrice 4T but none of the files are able to be imported into premiere. I belive they are recorded in HEVC 265, but that has not been an issue before when using Mavic 2 & 3, I haven't had any problems with HEVC 265 before atleast

Any one else seen this?

Another update: it is not supported by media encoder either

I'm not 100% sure what's going on here but DJI seems to use a unique H.265 encode sometimes and it doesn't always play nice with Premiere. And Media Encoder uses the same engine so if it doesn't work in one it won't work in the other.

I would use Shutter Encoder to transcode all of your clips to a better editing codec like ProRes 422. It's a great Swiss Army Knife of converters and you can do them in a batch like Media Encoder. And ProRes is much easier to work with than H.265/HEVC footage.

Merci

Thanks,

Has anyone solved this yet?  The only answer I have gotten is people use shutter encoder to save it into a format that Premiere Pro will take.  Is there a codec I can install or something so I don’t have to take this extra step?  Thanks in advance!!!
