Question

Premiere Preset Transition is causing to cancel rendering my video

I'm using one of the preset transitions Premiere CC offers in its libraries, the AE Sports Transition, but whenever I try to render out my final video I get this error:

It seems like it's having trouble rendering out the AE.ADBE Lens Flare which is embedded in the AE Sports Transition, but (1) I can't edit the internal components of that transition, even if I try to open it up in AE, and (2) that transition or Lens Flare is not being used anywhere near the timecode the error specifies.

I really don't want to get rid of this transition since I've used it heavily throughout this long video I'm making and this one little thing is stopping me from exporting any of my video. Is there a way to remove this lens flare bit from the transition or a work around?

My Premiere CC is up to date. I've tried restarting Premiere, but the error still occurs.

Thanks!

Two things. One, sometimes this is caused by an error in the media cache/cache database files. You can find where you've got those stored by looking in the Edit/Preferences/Media Cache tab. Navigate to them in Finder/Explorer, then close out PrPro. Manually delete everything in the folders, reboot, start up PrPro and let it build cache files for a few minutes, then try again.

The other thing is there may be something wrong with the way the clip is being seen by PrPro at that point, so for that, one removes the clip ... then replaces directly from a bin in your project panel. Occasionally, deleting the clip from the project (but NOT from disc!) and then re-importing/replacing is needed.
