Premiere Pro 2020 (14.0) won't launch

Since updating from the latest version, the new premiere pro won't go past the splash screen. I'm on a MacBook Pro Retina from mid 2015, running the latest OS, Catalina.

I reinstalled it. Rebooted the mac. Nothing. Had to revert to the previous version. Any ideas on how I might be able to fix it?

    Having the same issues on Windows Surface 10 Pro (2019).

    *edit: HAD the same issue. I went into task manager (ctrl+alt+del; Activity Monitor on Mac) and saw it was still running even though I "closed" the program earlier today. I ended the process and lanched successfully.

    Got the same problem with a similar Macbook Pro. I'm running 13.1.5 OK, but my partners are on 14 and I'm afraid I'll miss their updates on our project.
    Tried all that but nothing solved.

    Tried that. Still no luck.

    I also updated the read & write permissions of all of the important folders. 

    No luck either. 
    The lack of error log makes it way tougher to pinpoint it.

    have you had any luck? currently having the same problems. I have a 2013 and also just updated my macbook. It goes past the splash screen and starts loading up projects but they never load.
