Premiere Pro 23.4 bug in timeline - locked

It's seems that I detected a bug in the timeline in Premiere Pro 23.4.

If I hit the spacebar or play the timeline, it works without problem, but if I move the scrollwheel in my mouse, to moving in the timeline, it locked it, I can't select any clip, any shortcut, nothing until I stop the timeline.

Which one is it 23.4 or the beta 23.5?

Just a shot in the dark, but never a good idea to ignore a possibility.  do you have any third party software installed for customizing your mouse?
