Premiere Pro 23.6 Lip Sync Issues

Premiere Pro 23.6 Lip Sync Issues: 2019 Mac Pro Intel 3.3 GHz 12-Core AMD 580x 8GB 96 GB RAM

Once multiple projects have been opened lip sync playback is off and product is unuable.  There appears to be some sort of a memory link in the software.  Also if After Effects is opened and toggled between the issue appears here as well.  

Work around:  Close all Adobe software and relaunch Adobe software.  Work only  on 1 project at a time.

Aug 29th - Just searched - Premiere 23.6 Audio out of sync.

What's going on?  It was fine.

When you say one project at a time what do you mean?  I have one project open but have imported another seuence from another project.  Even when I export the video it looks daft.  It's about half a second out of synch but the files are 100% in synch on the timeline.

ALSO - Side notes..

Files re-linked incorectly.  It found files with the same name but entirely different folder syetem/file durations etc and it linked to them.

Warp stabiliser entirely crashing the software so it dissapears before you can even blink.

This is not good.

New computer and updated software and of course I know there are always teething problems as expected but this is embarasing.

I'm doing a 1 min edit, a basic interview cut down with some B-roll and music.  4K footage from Sony FS5 mixed with 5D MK 4 footage.  2 industry basic cams/codecs and I would expect much much more stability than this on such a small project.

Had to email my client and say I'm going to miss (what should have been a very easy 1/2 day) edit deadline that I allowed a whole day for.

I've had to make sure I do the project in new folders so as not to create a heavier than required project.

Have had multiuple crashes.

Had to relink footage which linked to the wrong footage.

Now audio is embarassingly out of synch both on the timeline and the export and restarting, having just this project open etc and it's still the same.  I don't see a workaround.

Not very reassuring!

If I go back to an earlier version of Premiere is this going to solve these problems are am I completely missing something and will be just wasting mnore time?

I was on an old iMac i7 and not experiencing any of these problems.

New M2 Pro computer (with less ram) and software update and a constant string of issues even on the most basic of edits.
