Premiere Pro always crashes when I open a project after closing another one

Hi,

when I close my active project (without leaving Premiere) and select another one from the Project window, Premiere always crashes. I have this problem for two months, it's constant, no exeption.

I only have one project open at a time. So I save it, then close it (cmd+w), select another one from the Project window and then... immediate crash with the bug report message window.

Is this a known bug ? What should I check to avoid this problem ?

Hi, sorry for the late answer but I thought none answered.

Nothing particular about the project which is closed or the one being opened. It happens everytime. I close a project, select the one I want to open and as soon as I click Open, Premiere Pro crashes.

But if I open another project whithout closing the active one, there's no probleme. So it's true that I could avoid the issue by opening the second project first and closing the first after, but I'd like to be able to use the strater window with the list of all my projects.

What happens if you attempt to open an additional project, without closing the first project?
