PREMIERE PRO CC 2017 Crashing on Mac

I am now using the iMac pro with Premiere and this ridiculous crashing continues...it happens on every machine I own (I have 4 machines...2 x macbook pro's, a Mac Pro and now the iMac Pro and all experience similar problems...the most recent being not being able to close the app without it hanging)...It doesn't matter if I use Premiere CC 2107 or 2018...it's a disaster!

I have been using Premiere for over 6 years since migrating from the old Final Cut 7. I am on the verge of going back to FCX...reluctantly but unless Adobe and Apple can really get their act together...I am have no choice but to do just that!

Premiere Pro keeps crashing on my iMac too, for the first few weeks I kept sending the error report but I'm getting tired of it. I just downloaded the Final Cut Pro X trial, let's see how that goes... I didn't spend that much money on an iMac to get Windows Vista experience!

I'm having similar problems too - I'm a recent convert to Adobe, and I'm really hoping that I won't regret my move to PP.

I just updated to High Sierra OS and then to Premiere Pro 2018.  Have been working for two days without one crash!

I just got off the phone with Adobe Tech Support and this is what I was told:

Click on premiere pro> preferences > media cache> clean unused cache.  The tech told me that the issue we have been encountering is common and advised me to set my prefs to automatically delete media cache files after 90 days.

I will let you know what happens.

Same here. Been crashing always. When I create bins, or sometimes even when I'm choosing LUTS on lumetri.

Adobe please help.
