Premiere Pro CC 2017 dynamic link problem with After Effects CC 2017

Hi, i have a problem with PP dynamic link, so i select a clip that i want to edit in After Effects then right click and Replace with after effects composition , then AE opens a new project and i save it and creates a new composition ; till now all good ! then the composition panel is black and timeline is blank  and no clips are in there, when i go back to Premiere the clip i selected is gone ! please anyone help me out and thanks.

You could start in AE instead of PP.

Import the clip into AE from the hard drive, do your work and save the project.  Then from PP, you can Import the AE comp and edit ti as a normal clip.

    Hey Jim , thanks fro your reply, unfortunately the same thing happened when i sent a comp from AE to PP, but its worth saying that  am used to editing in Premier and i cannot edit in AE so my workflow starts within PP then after i almost finished the film i add special effects in AE so what i mean is editing must be in PP and AE is last for additional effects and sweetening, i hope i found the solution.

    It couldn't possibly be the same thing happening when starting with AE because the "blank comp" issue can only happen when sending a clip from PP, so...we're getting either bad observation or bad reporting here, and that makes it difficult to help.
