PREMIERE PRO CC: Display Clip Name For Longer When Hover Over With Cursor in Timeline

In the Premiere Pro CC timeline when you hover your cursor over a clip it displays the full clip name for about 4 seconds. Is there anyway to set this clip-name-display to be longer, like 20 seconds or indefinitely. I am placing blank titles above sections of interview and naming these titles with notes about what is being said. I want to be able to read the whole note, sometimes a paragraph long, and the 5 seconds displaying the title name is not long enough. Let me know if there is a work-around or a way to display the titles for longer without having to reveal in project where the clip name IS displayed indefinitely. Want to do this in the timeline.. Thanks!

    Have you thought of using Clip Markers instead? They are much more suited to your purpose, if I understand what you are doing correctly:

    This is a great suggestion. Will try this approach. My only problem is that I'm pretty sure there is no way to drag a marker's in and out points that is ON a clip. You can drag a marker's In and Out points on the Timeline, but don't have the same handles on the marker within a clip. I know you can manually set in and out within the Marker Window but is there anyway to quickly do it within the timeline? If not PP needs to make that happen.

    Not ideal, but when I am using clip markers for a purpose such as yours, with the clip selected on the timeline, with the playhead at or near the point I want the clip marker to appear with text,  I;

    Press "m" twice in quick succession which places the marker and brings up the Marker Entry Panel. I move my cursor over the duration value and click down and swipe right to give it an arbitrary duration (my swipes usually end up with a duration of around 15 to 18 seconds) and then enter the text I want to have appear on the clip in the Name box and click OK.

    Not as nice as having a preset duration, but once you get used to it - the process moves along quickly.

    Good call, been doing the same thing. Would be great if you could just hold option and drag the marker or something similar. Will make a request. Thanks for your suggestions.
