Hi, in the book Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2019 Release, on page 12, I follow the steps to 1. Click Open Project and then 2. In the file navigation dialog box that appears, navigate to the Lesson 01 folder in the Lessons folder; then double click the Lesson 01.prproj project file to open the first lesson.

After opening the project file, I am prompted with a dialog box asking where the media file is. It shows a list of missing items, with the first already highlighted, which is /Volumes/Macintosh HD/MEDIA/Lessons/Assets/Video and Audio Files/Color Work/00020.mp4

I select Locarte, at the bottom right, so that I can locate the file from the files that I downloaded from http://www.peachpit.com/promotions/book-registration-adobe-premiere-pro-cc-classroom-in-141974

At the top of the Locate File dialog box I see the Last Path and the Path. Page 12 of the book says “Using the folders on the left, navigate to the Lessons/Assets folder, and click Search at the bottom right.

However, I do not see any Lessons/Assets folder. Therefore, I am unable to find the correct Path so that I can continue with the steps outlined in the book.

Please advise on how I can locate the correct Path for these files which were downloaded from the Peachpit website.

Sorry, I do not have an answer to your question. I will give you a heads up though, if this edition is anything like the 2018, 2017 and ones before it, it is terrible...instructions are not clear and not consistent with the screen captures, when you try to open project files that come with the books it has broken links, the list goes on and on....
