Premiere Pro Crash — Audio Plugins

Dear Community,

I've been struggeling a lot with crashes through out the last years on several versions of Premiere Pro and both on Intel and Silicon builds and haven't found a workaround to this. Now my patience is starting to run out.

My crashes starts to occur once I'm applying different audio plugins on the mixer. Usually Waves plugins, but also Adobes own ones. The waves plugins are the latest ones available, but there's also been problems with previous version.

My crashes usually happens when I'm copying clips and edits from one sequence to another, but also while I'm editing and exporting. This is extremely frustrating and affects my workflow in big ways. To not use the plugins and mixer isn't really an option for me.

To troubleshoot I've tried to import the project into a new project, cleaned the cache and swiched between VST 3 and AU without any sucess. Is there anyone that have had the same problem previously and found a magical workaround to this? Or at least have a theory why this is happening?

Premiere Pro Version 22.3.1 (Build 2)

MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021)

M1 Max

64 GB RAM

I also seem to regularly have issues once I start adding audio Plugins. Running all 64-bit but premiere will still crash, and have trouble opening projects that have them. Waves seem to be the worst offenders for me. Quite frustrating.

Hello,

I have been experincing this same issue using the "Waves L2 Stereo". Typically it only affects me once in a while and isnt a big deal, However lately once it happens it will continue to happen every 2 minutes.

After uninstalling and reinstalling all the plugs-ins and premier pro the issue persists.

Is there any definite soultion to this issue yet?
