Okay, I've been using Premiere Pro for the past 5 years, and it genuinely cannot function. Every single day, whenever I edit, I have a crash maybe every 20 minutes, maybe even 10 minutes. I have to set a 3 minute autosave, and after every single thing I do, I have to save, just so I don't lose work. I am on a brand new M.2 Mac Studio, after moving from my older Alienware PC with a 3090 and i9-9900K, and 128 gigs of DDR4 RAM, because it was unusable. Now I can use Premiere, but it sucks, really, really sucks. I thought maybe I made an error while using the PC, so I switched to a Mac for the first few days, it worked perfectly, and after that, it's never been the same. It crashes every day, multiple times a day, maybe 100 times a day, and I'm not even overstating it when I say that. If I'm actually trying to get something done, it crashes. Everyone has told me just to switch to DaVinci Resolve Studio, and honestly, I might have to at this point. I don't know what I can do, there's no GPU errors, I'm on a Mac. Recently I found one repeatable method that I can recreate to fail the program, no matter what, after 3 minutes maybe. I'm in a brand new project with brand new Blackmagic RAW footage and Canon R5 footage, and while simply editing text with Blow on it, it crashes every single time without fail. Maybe it doesn't crash on the first time I'm editing the text, but by the fifth time, it will crash, and there's nothing that I can do. Also, whenever I crash, it tells me to open up the Diagnostics, and when I open up the Diagnostics program, it tells me to update my program, which it's already updated. Does anyone else have something like this? I genuinely think that this program is so far beyond fixing that I'm gonna have to switch away, as it's unusable in this modern day and age.
