Delete the Media Cache and Media Cache files:

If that doesn't work, try resetting the preferences:

If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:
Reset a workspace
Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
• Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.
from here:
https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/workspaces.html

If that doesn't work, try Preferences > Audio Hardware and set Input to None.

If that doesn't work, try creating a new project and import the old one into it.

Sorry about that. Are you getting any error codes or messages when it crashes?

Let us know if Peru Bob's suggestions help.

Thanks,

What version of premiere pro do you use?

I never got such unusual problem. If prefer resolve, then you can buy and used it as your dailly work.

######Raizen 7, 40Gb Ram, RTX 3060, Win 11 -- All of Software in the world are just tools. Buy it if it works for you :)

Oh forgot to add that if I walk away to grab a drink and come back screen goes to sleep and premiere Pro is the only app running and crashes AHHH Why did I waste my money building this PC?
