Premiere Pro Crashing on Apple M2 Max 96GB

I've been trying to troubleshoot Premiere for over a week now.

I start a new project with no effects at all and it works for a minute but as soon as I start editing it crashes and doesn't give me any error codes. After the first crash, it will crash immediately if I try to open it again.

It crashes with old and new projects and I've followed every troubleshooting step I could find online.

I permitted PP to access all folders, cleaned the cache, reset preferences, and did multiple clean installs.

also downgraded to different versions and tried the latest version 25.0.0(build 61)

deleted all plugins and removed security apps from my laptop.

I reached out to Adobe and a customer support agent remotely accessed my computer

nothing worked so far.

Help!!

Hi @Laezio5D1E - Sorry for the trouble, It seems possibly Speech to Text is running and is causing a problem.  Can you try going to your preferences under transcription and turn off Automatic description.  Then try creating a new project and bring your footage back.

Are you using the insta360 app?  If so can you try going to the Effects panel select the hamburger menu and at the bottom select manage video effects, then disable it to see if that helps your issue.

If this doesn't work can you

If this doesn't work can you try installing the beta 25.1 and see if you still are having issues.
