Hello,
I have edited DNG files with Premiere Pro for years... now suddenly the program does not read them anymore, an error message appears. When I open my older projects it still reads them but I cannot add any new footage. What happened? How to fix the bug?
I have tried to re-install the camera raw plug in but nothing changed...

If you want to send me a small dng file, I'll see if I can figure out what's going on... Send me a private message by clicking on my username at the top of my post... Are you on windows or mac?

I just downloaded some sample .dng files from a few websites and none opened.

Sorry that I did not respond sooner. I am on the road, and could not complete my tests.
I have one .dng that I use to test. I don't recall if it was imported successfully to PR previously. It gives the error you see now. If opens in Photoshop, and a file I exported from PS as .dng shows the same error.
I upvoted the bug report.
Is anyone able to import .dng?
Stan

gotta say that many NLE's will allow you to "sometimes" import a file even though it's not an "approved" format and it's usually dangerous to play that game. Converting to a Premiere friendly format is probably a good idea.. I'm sure buried somewhere or other, there's a list of approved formats... Hopefully someone can pipe up with a link to a list... Googling might find it..

Thank you for testing, it is now working again 🙂
