Premiere pro export mxf in stereo

Hi there, I'm trying to export an MXF file in Premiere with the audio in stereo but it's not working. 

 

Can anyone advise on how to do this?

We need more information. Are your files is stereo? If so then your output should be stereo also.

Yes the files are in stereo but when I export, then open the mxf file in premiere the stereo looks like it has turned to mono? As in the two bars on the right panel are identical where as before export they were moving independently.

Is it the settings of the sequence perhaps if the export settings are correct?
