Premiere Pro File Import Failure

Hi all,

I´m trying to import my files (Wave sound), which i´ve used before, but now I get the error: File Import Failure - We were unable to open the file on disk.

I have the new version 23.6
Working on a PC - DELL
I restarted the program

Tried relocating the file
I cleared media cache files
I tried switching to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only

Tried switching off H264/HEVC hardware accelerated decoding

Nothing works.

Anyone have an idea what I could do from here? Thanks

The file is buried very deep in a folder structure.

Might want to change that.

Sorry, I´m very new in the program, but why does that matter?

I don't know the reason it might matter, but do as Ann Bens suggests and move it closer to the root of the drive and see if that fixes it.
