Hi! I don't know much about hardware so please excuse me for not knowing the exact source of the problem.

Today I woke up and premiere pro decided it didn't want to be compatible for my PC anymore. It still somewhat works, but it's really laggy and sometimes it will freeze my entire PC and make my monitor go blank. I have to press and hold the power button to restart, and I lose any progress I made since my last save.

When I opened it for the first time this morning it said "There is a recent known bug where Nvidia Geforce Experience crashes premiere pro. Please close it."

I literally UNINSTALLED Geforce Experience and it still happens.

My system information is:

Also I think it may be a driver update that caused the issue because I did not update premiere pro recently and I tried downgrading to a 2022 version and it still happens.

Hi, RGC Exists,

If it's happening in a former version, I can understand how that situation might be confusing. You might try v.517.40, which is older but works with the current version of Premiere Pro. Give that a try, and let us know how it goes.

Thanks,
Kevin
