Premiere Pro/Media Encoder chew up all my PC's memory space
Hello
I've been having some major issues with rendering/encoding my projects in both Premiere Pro and Media encoder.
For some reason, over the last 24 hours, both programs have skyrocketed the memory/RAM usage whenever I attempt to render something. This often leaves me at 10% encoded before I receive one of the various error messages, followed by my PC crashing thanks to the lack of memory space. The project I'm trying to render is 2:29:18 long. I've never had any issues like this previously, as I've rendered out 3-4 hour long projects within the last 2 weeks.
My PC specs are:
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RBG Pro 32gb
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six Core Processor (3400 Mhz)
GPU: MSI GeForce RTX Gaming X Trio
Power Supply: Cooler Master V1000 Platinum
SSD: 3.63TB
External Storage: 2x 2TB Drives
Things I've already tried:
- Restarting my PC
- Restarting Premiere Pro/Media Encoder
- Uninstalling and reinstalling
- Deleting preferences
- Clearing Caches
- Allocating more RAM to the programs
- Using the programs on another system
- Copy-pasting my work into a new project file
- Redoing all my editing in a new project file
If someone could help me fix this issue that would be wonderful. I'm forced to stop my productions thanks to this and I cannot advance until this is fixed.
